Ordering custom jacquard beanies is different from buying blank stock — the logo is knitted into the fabric, not printed or stitched on top. That changes everything about MOQ, sampling and lead time. The short version: plan for a per-design minimum, expect a 72-hour sample, and give yourself 2–3 weeks of bulk production.

Jacquard vs embroidery: know what you're buying

When people say "custom beanie with a logo," they usually mean one of three things:

Jacquard — the logo is knitted into the cuff or body, row by row. It's part of the fabric, so it never peels, cracks or washes off. This is our specialty and the premium option.
Embroidery — a stitched logo on top of the fabric. Great for a raised, dimensional brand mark, but it can distort on stretchy knits.
Woven patch — a separate badge sewn on. Versatile, but it's an add-on piece.

For a brand that wants the logo to be "part of the beanie," jacquard is the strongest choice — and it's what a flat-knit factory does natively. A logo knitted in can't peel, fray or fall off, because it is the knit.

MOQ: how the minimum is counted

Custom jacquard beanies are knitted on flat-knit machines. The pattern is programmed once per design, which is where the setup cost sits. So:

MOQ is typically per design, not per color.
A single design can be split across colors freely — 5 colors × 60 pieces each still counts as one design.
Expect a per-design minimum of around 100–300 pcs depending on the style.

If you need fewer, ask about lower-MOQ options — but a true knitwear run needs volume to be cost-effective.

Sampling: 72 hours

The most important step before bulk is the sample, because it's where gauge, colors and motif crispness get fixed.

Lead time & seasonality

Bulk production: 2–3 weeks after sample approval.
Beanies often ship with matching sweaters or scarves — plan the bundle together so they land together.
For a holiday program, order by early September to be safe before the Q4 shipping crunch.
